Defense Information Systems Agency Encore II is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) task order contract providing technical solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) in support of its migration to an integrated and interoperable Global Information Grid (GIG). Other non-DoD Federal agencies may use this contract to satisfy their IT requirements.

The Encore II contract provides for net-centric solutions, including network engineering, analysis and support for the acquisition, installation, fielding, training, operation and life-cycle management of components and systems. This includes procurement of various products such as hardware, software and licenses, when such products are incidental to the implementation of the solution. Electronic handling of proposals, modifications and award processes allow for an easy turnaround for clients who need a quick response to their requirements.
